So the next few songs were ones I considered for my 10 album covers but I rejected them because the album covers were boring. Not sure whether I can theme this last set so will just let them rip. As I mentioned a couple of days back will continue until they open up the aquatic centre and I can finally go swimming again. Hopefully not too many married folk are singing this after 54 days of being shut inside. Strange at the end of this video how the audience start to throw what looks like paper discs onto the stage?

So with the partial release of the UK shutdown the question is when do I bring Covid Island discs to a fitting conclusion? I have decided its end point (my last post) will be on the day that I first am allowed to go swimming again. My guess is that won’t be too far away but we shall wait and see.

In the meantime, I just never get sick of hearing this song and the Youtube clip is a great version in a great location.

What an amazing album cover and appropriate song for day 50 of this long shutdown. I bought a 12 string just so I could play this piece when I was a young and foolish 20 something year old. I’m sure a lot of us can relate to this song now more than ever.
