This website uses minimal cookies. The cookies that are used, record data that does not allow Bensonium to identify the user but simply to enhance the user’s interaction with the website.

User Accounts

Any information you supply in relation to creating a user account on our website will be stored inside a WordPress SQL database. The information stored will normally include your name, email address and, if supplied, your address details. None of this information is shared with third parties and no material will be sent to your address. From time to time you may receive a marketing email from Bensonium when a new product is added to the catalogue but these emails will be very infrequent and will never exceed one a month. You can request for your account data to be permanently removed by emailing using the address in the footer below. Accounts that have not been accessed for over 2 years will be deleted.

Customer Purchases

If you purchase a product without creating a user account then the only information that is stored after the transaction is completed is your name, email, your postcode, country of residence and the transaction amount. No banking or credit card details are stored. This information is retained by Bensonium for a period of 2 years.

Prove it Club Registrations

The information that is supplied on this form is necessary for me to run the Prove it after school club for year 5 and 6 primary school students. This form collects your name, email, mobile number and your child’s name and date of birth, along with any information that is relevant to their welfare while they are attending the club. This form information is retained for 30 days after the completion of the club and then deleted from both our local and the WordPress database. Note the purchase of this service is recorded in the Customer Purchase database which is retained for 2 years (see Customer Purchases above).

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
