A very easy choice for the most visually appealing video this week. Love the Dixie chicks video for “Not ready to Make Nice” The black paint is really a visually powerful image. Lots of black in this video to suit the dark emotions of this song.

This week’s most visually appealing video goes to Cold Play’s the scientist. I quite like the way they play some of the video in reverse (Chris Martin rising from the matress, basket ball going back through the hoop etc), although now I have thought about it, they must have actually filmed Chris Martin walking backwards

OK so my vote this week for the most visually pleasing video has to go to Carly Simon, You’re so vain. Again I like it because it is set in what looks like a marina. Such a great place for a live concert.

So this week was mostly live rock videos. The two thematic videos were Golden brown by The Stanglers and Forever young by Alphaville. I think out of the two themed videos, I prefer the Stanglers although both are quite visually provocative.

So this week’s favourite video goes to Tones and I by dance monkey. A bizarre video for sure but quite entertaining to watch.

So two videos are my equal favourites this week in terms of visuals. As mentioned in my Natalie Imbruglia post, the video to torn is really clever and my other favourite is Rasputin by Bony M simply because Bobby Farrell’s dancing cracks me up every time I watch the video.

Not a hard choice this week working out which are my favourite videos: Midnight Oil’s US Forces as it is filmed in one of the most beautiful locations in the world (Sydney Harbour, my long lost home).

Difficult to pick my favourite video for week 3 but I think I will go with the Traveling Wilburys just for the sheer number of mega rockstars in the same room (all having a jam) although the David Bowie one is also pretty good.

My favourite video in terms of visuals this week was Shiny Happy People (song 5 in this play list video) by REM. This band always produces very interesting videos, you might also like to check out the one for Losing my Religion.

My favourite video from this playlist (in terms of the visuals) in the first week goes to Dido’s “Sand in my shoes” (song 2 in the playlist video) perhaps some of you are thinking, for obvious reasons.
